- Discussion:
- normal or slightly increased Central Venous Pressure with a normal or high Cardiac Output and disproportionate hypotension is usually
due to a loss of peripheral vascular resistance;
- in this situation the physician should suspenct a septic component, as increased peripheral resistance is the rule in oligemic shock
