Cleeland’s ligament

- Discussion:
    - Grayson's & Cleland's ligament hold skin in position during flexion and extension of the finger;
    - Cleeland's ligaments are firm fascia bands that run from side of phalanges to the skin, dorsal to the neurovascular bundle;
    - they are not involved in Dupuytren's dz;
    - origin - edge of osseous flexor tendon gutter at PIP jointj
    - course - dorsal to neurovascular bundle
    - insertion - digital fascia
    - function:
           - retention of different parts of integument in position, also serving as window through which Retinacular Ligament passes
