- See Penicillin Family

* Adult: 4-12 gm q4-6hr; Peds ( > 4 yr): 150 mg/kg/24 hr;
* For Staphlococcus; (Penicillinase Res. Penicillin);
* Poorly absorbed orally, cloxacillin or dicloxacillin better for PO use;
* Intersitial nephritis can occur with high doses;
* Reduce dose in Renal failure;

CrCl: >80:: 1/4-6;;CrCl:50-79::1/4-6;; CrCl:30-49:: 1/4-6;;
 
 
CrCl:10-29:: 1/4-6;;
 
- 20% of drug will be excreted in to urine (w/ nl RF(x))
- w/ osteomyelitis
