    - for motion sickness, potentiation narcotics, sedation, cough supression, for allergic reactions, for extrapyramidal reactions;br/>
    - adult: 25-50mg PO/IM/IV (slow direct injection) bid-tid;br/>
    - ananti-histamine with many anticholinergic effects including dry mouth, urinary retention;br/>
    - increase dosing interval in moderate to severe renal failure;br/>
    - peds: 5mg/kg/24hr PO or IM in 4 divided doses;br/>
    - supplied: Tabs and Caps: 25mg, 50mg; injection 10 mg/ml, 50 mg/ml; syrup 12.5 mg/5ml;br/>
    - antihistamines are the active ingredients in most over-the-counter sleep preparations, and although often effective, they are associated with abr/>
